ABOUT US
We are Anna and Martin – a young couple that overtook
Hoglebjerg as its new forpagters in january 2026.
Why working with pets?
We got to work with dogs through Servicehundeforeningen – an organization where we were a foster family for several puppies. We received a good training from them. We self-educated ourselves via various online courses and books after that. And this year, we completed the by-law mandatory course on dog care in boarding facilities. Last but not least, we have a dog of our own – a labrador Alfred whom we love very much 😊
We moved to Bornholm from Sjelland but originally, we are both from the Czech Republic. Alongside Hoglebjerg, we dedicate ourselves to our “computer” part-time jobs – Martin works as an environmental engineer and Anna as a project manager.

Prices
Does your dog have 5kg or 50kg? Does your cat need medicine? Is your bitch in the heat? Do you need someone to look after your puppy or a kitten? Does your dog need a little more exercise or special food? We differentiate the care but not the prices – it costs the same for everyone.

Prices are per a beginned day and everything is included. You pay when checking in, either by card or by MobilePay.

- +75 DKK per day per cat

Cancellation policy
We keep things flexible and straightforward.- No prepayment.
- No cancellation fees.
HOLIDAY
Hoglebjerg is closed from May 21 to May 31, 2026, when we take our own holiday and visit our family. Thank you for your understanding.
Hoglebjerg Klubben
In 2026, we launched Hoglebjerg Klubben – a community of cat and dog owners. Membership in the club costs 400kr. per year and brings plenty of societal and financial benefits.
